Board of Directors Meetings
The board of directors of NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties generally meet on the fourth Thursday of each month. Meetings are open to the public. Please call 330-264-1590 or email info@namiwayneholmes.org for more information and reservations, so we’re sure to have seating available.
Annual Meeting
Our Annual Gathering is held in late August. We typically have a meal, a featured speaker and present our annual awards:
CIT Officer of the Year Award of Wayne & Holmes Counties
Presented to the law enforcement officer who has executed and excelled at the mission of Crisis Intervention.
Ginger Handwerk Service Award
Presented in recognition of extraordinary commitment and service to the healing and mental health of others through the work of NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties. This award is in honor of the late Ginger Handwerk of Orrville, who worked tirelessly to make the MOCA House recovery program a reality.
NAMI Community Service Award
Presented in recognition of the volunteer who contributes to the mission of NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties in an extraordinary fashion.
