People Affected by a Loved-One’s Suicide (PALS)

This group is for People Affected by a Loved-One’s Suicide (PALS). It is an ongoing grief support group for persons dealing with grief and emotions related to the tragic loss of someone to suicide. Facilitated by professional and volunteer family members trained through the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. The group meets 5:30 to 7:00 pm the 4th Tuesday of each month at the NAMI facility at 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, Ohio. For more information call Helen Walkerly at 330-264-1590.

Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

Survivor Day is the one day a year when people affected by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope.

Takes place each November on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
