Writing for Wellness

Writing for Wellness will begin meeting again in September.  The new day and time for this group will be the first and third Thursday of each month from 6-7 pm at MOCA House.  

Join this fun-filled group as they critique various writings and books, create stories, prose and poems.

One of the ways to deal with any overwhelming emotion is to find a healthy outlet in which to express yourself, which makes journaling or writing a helpful tool in managing your mental health. It can manage anxiety, Reduce stress and provides an opportunity for positive self-talk and identifying negative thoughts and behaviors; plus it is fun.
