Our NAMI Family Support Groups are for family members who have a loved one with a mental illness.


Gain insight and support from people who understand your concerns.


Held twice a month:

  • on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8 pm, at NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties at 2525 Back Orrville Rd. Wooster, OH
  • on the third Monday of the month from 6:30-8 pm, at the Community room of Danbury Senior Living at 4245 Glen Dr. Millersburg, OH

Family-to-Family

This is an eight-week course, that meets weekly, for families and friends of adults who have a mental illness. The course is taught by family members who have lived this experience.


Topics include: family response to the trauma of mental illness, diagnosis and dealing with critical periods, problem-solving, review of medications, communication skills, and recovery services available.


Free transportation in Wayne & Holmes Counties is available.

NAMI Basics

NAMI Basics is a six-week educational program for parents or primary caregivers of a child or adolescent living with mental illness. The course is taught by parents who have lived similar experiences with their own children.


The course is available online 24/7.
